Our staff at Have A Heart Animal Hospital is consistently striving to improve our clinical and customer care services. We are pleased to share with you our 2011 efforts. We thank you, our clients, for the honor of your trust to care for your pets and we share in the sorrow with every client who has lost a pet this past year. Your feedback has helped us navigate our efforts to continue to contribute to our community and stay focused on earning your trust everyday. Progression is always our goal and we are proud to share the many achievements that we have attained in the year 2011. This year Have A Heart Animal Hospital has achieved the following:
Our hard working staff has once again, donated their time and energy to aid in the success of our Annual Fundraising Event, “Santa Saturday”. In 2011, we donated 100% of the proceeds to “Canines for Disabled Kids”. The CDK is a non-profit organization which began in 1998 as an offshoot of NEADS (Dogs for Deaf and Disabled Americans), then focused their efforts and mission to enhance the education and independence of children with disabilities across the United States.
During the holiday season, Have A Heart Animal Hospital helped with one of the major fundraising events located in the Methuen, MA area, by donating a decorated tree for the “Methuen Festival of Trees “. This event raises funds to preserve our area’s historic treasures in the Methuen and Merrimack Valley.
Have A Heart Animal Hospital has also started an in hospital “pets in need” fund called “The Samantha Gram Memorial Fund”. This fund was started in memory of a special cockapoo named Samantha, by her owner to help offset veterinary costs for our clients that otherwise may not be able to afford medical treatment on their own for their pet. We continuously accept any donation to this fund and have used it based on individual needs.
Lastly, in remembrance of our deceased beloved pets, we donate funds to the Dr. Stanley Travis Fund for Needy Animals through the Tuft’s University, (Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine). Each owner receives a beautiful thank you letter from the University as a memorial keepsake.
